Time seems most fluid when it is spoken of in cycles, life as a journey, many journeys, turning points, completions and growth. In my earlier life it felt the most difficult when my life seemed inextricably stuck in a pattern that was painful, dark, monotonous or unfeeling without any possibility of change. The great gift of ascension for me is getting in the flow of the sacredness of cycles of growth, change and evolution and being guided to the insights that foster this. However this means things are best not ‘swept under the carpet’ or stuffed in a dark corner. If I do this then I am sure to turn around and there it will be, even bigger for it being unacknowledged and puffed up with my own power because I fear it. Ascension and consciousness are slowly becoming my living dream.
I was born in Australia living till age 5 on a farm with my family that was nestled between a forest and a river. I loved my homeland and missed it when we moved into a nearby town until I finished high school. Once out of the school system I took lots of different jobs that allowed me to stay out of the cities and closer to nature but I was still very codependent upon my extended family. My father passed when I was 12 years old and this marked a large shattering of self as I tried to ‘save’ him energetically after which I became a much quieter, reserved person. But in counterbalance years later when my mother passed it moved me to start gathering myself up, forgiving and opening my heart and the desire to fulfill upon whatever I had been born to do and learn.
A little sanctuary in the bush supported this for 3 years during which I grew a garden from which I was offered many lessons and was a joyful expression. I looked into aboriginal spirituality more and then found the SSOA site, and dreamed a lot of going ‘walkabout’ . This is an English description for the aboriginal practice of taking a spiritual journey while traveling on foot to ancestral land, sacred sites and reinvigorating creation stories . I did start my ‘walkabout’, first going camping for 3 months around Australia and then once I had completed with the region I was from I traveled for the next 3 years in Aus, working along the way. Although not on foot this journey fulfilled me in a way I longed for. There was the physical journey woven with a spiritual journey which had deep meaning for me. Really the fulfillment is associated with agreements with earth, nature and the ancestors to ascend and evolve and to do my part and allow all others their journey.
I have moved to Canada now to a different circle of life, with my beloved and friends and new adventures.
